EyeTalk test build. The gaze model runs in this browser; this session is recorded (camera video and everything you do in the app) and sent to the ExploraVist EyeTalk team to improve the model. Start runs the 16-dot tune, then the keyboard; Train records a walkthrough and trains on it. Hold your eyes closed for 2 s to pause, 4 s to re-tune.
A ~10-minute walkthrough records how your eyes look at different spots, head positions and lighting. This device then trains a model for you, in the background, for as long as it takes.
Checking what is already recorded…
EyeTalk is an internal ExploraVist tool. Once you agree, every EyeTalk session on this device records the camera video (your face) and everything you do in the app: where the dots were, what you selected and typed. No sound. Recordings go privately to the EyeTalk team, and the walkthrough is also kept on this device to train your model. A red ● REC mark shows while it records. You can switch it off any time in Train.
